February 8, at 11:30 am at the school N 162 named after Siamanto, Open lesson organized by Armenian Red Cross Society, with the support of "Ashtarak-Kat" CJSC and with collaboration with Department of Education of Yerevan Municipality in the framework of "Healthy Generation" project.
ARCS youth volunteers, who instructed 2-week course for 7th grade pupils about a healthy lifestyle, summed up the result of acquired knowledge.
"Healthy Generation" project started in 2011. In 2011-2012 educational year, 10-14 years-old 1600 children from 34 schools in Yerevan and in the regions, were informed on what is a healthy lifestyle, healthy diet and nutrition, environmental protection, what kind of harm tobacco and alcohol cause.
The effectiveness and necessity, as well as the Ministry of Education and the Mayor's support were a stimulus for the start of a new phase, which was on 20 November 2012, when Armenian Red Cross Society and the "Ashtarak-Kat" CJSC signed cooperation memorandum.
