The Armenian Red Cross Society and the International Committee of the Red Cross launched the "summer yard camp" component for 250 children attending "Smiley Clubs" within the framework of the “Enhancing access to education for IB schools and displaced children from NK – 2021."2022" project.
On June 20-23, 25 children of the "Smiley Club" of Tsaghkadzor community participated in trainings and games aimed at the promotion of human values, skills development, and visited the house-museum of Orbeli brothers. Active entertainment for children was ensured through quiz and sports games.
Four-day yard camps are organized in the beneficiary communities of the program: Geghanush, Syunik, Tegh, Hrazdan, Tsaghkadzor, Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Masis, Metsamor and Yerevan.
The activities of the yard camps are coordinated and carried out by the community leaders and volunteers of the ARCS.
