In May 2023, the ARCS launched the "Humanitarian Award" initiative, the aim of which is to widely cover and disseminate the principles of the ICRC International Movement, support the involvement of volunteers in the activities of the ARCS and contribute to their capacity development, encouraging the participation and involvement of young people in their community processes.
181 volunteers from all regional branches of the ARCS registered for the program (33 teams).
In accordance with the requirement of the first stage, all participants attended 2 online mandatory trainings, as well as got acquainted with the available online information regarding the ARCS.
126 participants passed the first stage (23 teams).
The second stage is in process and will end on July 31. About 60 trainings will be organized for the participants of the second stage. 5 working groups of volunteer leaders have been created by the Youth, Volunteering and Membership Department of the ARCS, who have been trained and will support the RB teams to make the courses easy to understand.
