The quality of care directly depends on the capacities, abilities, and knowledge level of the Gyumri Care Centre (GCC) care staff and one of the objectives of the “W2X - Working 2gether for quality care, well-being and dignity– Next Level” project is to increase the capacities of the care professionals based on their needs ensuring access to continuous education. One of the important trainings organized within the project is related to palliative care, which was conducted in August by invited experts from the “Association of Healthcare and Assistance to Older People.” Theoretical and practical knowledge that were shared with the 73 care staff within the two-day training framework contributed to the improvement of the quality of care for older people and people with disabilities.
The project is implemented in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross, co-funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation.
