On the eve of the New Year, through the efforts of employees and volunteers in the regional branches of the ARCS in Shirak, Vayots Dzor, Hrazdan and Lori, events were organized for the elderly and people with disabilities who receive home care services. In Hrazdan, the elderly visited the drama theater to watch the play “Trees Stand Dying”, and in Lori, they participated in a beautiful matinee around the table of tea and coffee. The elderly from the Gyumri 24 Hour Care Center also participated in the festive gathering held in Maralik, who decorated the Christmas tree together, sang, and rejoiced. There were creators among them who impressed with the recitation of their works. Those dependents who were unable to participate in the events were visited by ARCS employees and volunteers, bringing with them small New Year gifts and a happy mood. Such events were continuous throughout the year, dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons, March 8, etc.
