PSYCHO – SOCIAL

Within the framework of the "Who cares" program, a Psychological First Aid (PFA) course was held for the department heads of the Armenian Red Cross Society. There were discussed the relationship between managers and employees and the ways to solve practical problems as well as the role of communication skills while demonstrating PFA. Contraindications to providing psychological first aid were also emphasized during the course in order to maintain the principle of "Do not harm".

It is important to understand that timely psychological first aid can reduce the risk of further psychological problems.

Psychological first aid training can promote people's willingness and readiness to help each other in difficult situations, creating a more supportive environment.

Providing psychological first aid is not only an ethical responsibility, but also an important element of public health and welfare.
