The Armenian Red Cross Society, in order to alleviate the economic backlash of the Covid-19, has been supporting the most vulnerable families from the very first day of the state of emergency providing them with one-time packages of food and hygiene items for a month.
In June, with the support of the Izmirlian Charitable Foundation, we had the opportunity to support 1147 families with many children in Armavir (592) and Lori (555) regions.
The list of beneficiaries was provided by the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. We also cooperated with the representatives of Armavir and Gugarats dioceses, which provided data on the most vulnerable families of 23 beneficiaries.
Since March 16, 22,423 packages have been distributed with our partners' and donors' support .
