Newly renovated residential block at the ARCS Gyumri Care Center
In 2024, the third residential block of the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) Gyumri Care Center, where about 50 people are resided, was renovated and furnished within the “W2X-Working 2gether for Quality Care, Well-being & Dignity-Next Level” project. The renovation was carried out with careful consideration of the residents' needs, safety, and the principle of equality. Thanks to the renovation, the residents’ living conditions and quality of life have improved, and a comfortable and supportive environment, where each individual enjoys their own personal space was created. Special emphasis was given on fostering a home atmosphere for the residents, which directly contributes to the residents' mental and physical well-being. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross and co-funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation.
