On October 1st, on the occasion of the International Day for older persons, an event and a reception was organized in the ARCS Gyumri 24-hour care center Center for Active Longevity initiative group and other elderly beneficiaries of the Center. The ARCS volunteers greeted and congratulated the elderly people.
More than 3,000 most vulnerable elderly people regularly use the services of the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS). Refugee, displaced, disabled and socially disadvantaged elderly people in all the regions of RA are also involved in the humanitarian aid programs.
