Armenian Red Cross Society in the frames of “Refugee protection and Economic integration” UNHCR funded project and in cooperation with migration service of RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development conducted the series of regional coordination meetings in RA six regions Armavir, Ararat, Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor, Kotayk, Shirak, creating multifunctional working group consisting of local authorities, refugee population as well as other active local NGO representatives.
The aim of the meetings is to raise their awareness on international and national norms of refugee protection and projects implemented for PoCs, strengthen the cooperation between state and NGO bodies in refugee filed as well as discuss refugee population issues in the region (case discussion, practical topics).
