The Armenian Red Cross Society (ARSC), as an auxiliary organization to the Government in the humanitarian field, is responding to the humanitarian needs of around 50 children accommodated in 8 guest houses in the city of Goris, Syunik region, as a result of the situation around the Lachin corridor since December 12, in close cooperation with the Syunik regional governor's office and the Goris municipality.
Psychologists of the Armenian Red Cross Society and volunteers, trained according to the International Red Cross Model of Children's Resilience, work with children by organizing special group activities that include conversations, reading, interactive games, handicrafts, transfer of stress management skills, visits to museums, which help relieve stress and provide daily entertainment. Firts aid trainings, sand therapy courses, Ghapama making, visit to Musical school of Goris have been organized for them.

The ARCS closely cooperates with the Syunik regional administration and the Goris municipality to continue the response based on the dire need.
