On March 19, 1920, doctor and public figure Spandarat Kamsarakan founded the Armenian Red Cross. Having operated for more than a century the organization’s humanitarian scope has expanded over the years and now includes social support and health care, first aid, disaster management, population movement, tracing and family links recovery, youth and other strategic directions. As a supporting organization to the government of Armenia in the humanitarian field, the ARCS implements large-scale projects in all the mentioned directions for the benefit of vulnerable communities and beneficiaries. All this becomes possible thanks to the commitment and selfless efforts of our volunteers and staff. Therefore, we congratulate and thank our team, all partners, whose efforts keep our humanitarian mission going - to reduce the vulnerability of the population and alleviate human suffering.
