Live saving skills: First Aid Regional Competition in Tavsuh

Live saving skills: First Aid Regional Competition in Tavsuh

Can you imagine, that your quick actions may save someone’s live? But, do you know, what to do in case of severe bleeding or fracture? These skills are essential for everyone, especially for those, living in vulnerable communities. Armenian Red Cross Society, with the support of International Committee of the Red Cross, has been conducting First Aid sessions for borderline communities for several years. 
On 20 July, 10 volunteer teams from Tavush border communities of Barekamavan, Dovegh, Aygehovit, Vazashen, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Kirants, Sevqar, Baghanis, Berqaber and Voskepar competed with each other in Ijevan, presenting the skills obtained at the sessions. Voskepar community volunteer team announced as the winner of the competition, Vazashen took the 2nd place, and Aygehovit was the 3rd. The Best Firs Aid provider, Team Leader and Imitator received prizes as well.
