Dignified management of the dead caused by a natural disaster, migration or an armed conflict, helps to minimize cases of missing people and can prevent more suffering of families already traumatized.
The ICRC forensic advisor ran a session with the Armenian Red Cross Society volunteers, as emergency responders and trainers in Armenia. Having enhanced their awareness and improved skills on the topic, the volunteers transferred their knowledge to the MES Civil Defense Teams of bordering Paravakar, Chinari, Movses, Aygepar, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Azatamut, Sarigyugh communities of Tavush region. By the end of August, three more Civil Defense teams will be trained.
