Project Objective
ARCS is enabled to deliver sustainable humanitarian services and effective response to
vulnerable and crisis-affected people in Armenia
Project Outputs
1. The institutional capacity of ARCS to respond to emergencies is enhanced (overall PER
approach and mechanism)
2. Capacity building of institutional preparedness of the ARCS head office and branches and
development of disaster response teams (DRT) in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir and Kotayk
marzes.
3. ARCS is able to deliver appropriate assistance with scalable, timely and accountable
CVA(Cash and Voucher Assistance)
Project target groups
The target groups of the project are the staff and volunteers of the Head Office and regional
branches of the ARCS, as well as members of the new disaster response teams of 4 regions.
