The 300 young people will benefit from life-skills training and development to strengthen their network and self-confidence. They will be involved in profession orientation and networking with potential employers whom can advise on expectations, life choices and self-empowerment. The acquired knowledge, capacities, and skills will help them to take up roles as community members and decrease insecure migration.
70 representatives from local government institutions, education and labour departments, NGOs and private sector will be included as active partners in planning, implementation, monitoring, and knowledge sharing with a view to launch new joint and inclusive initiatives to promote education opportunities and employability of youth.
60 young women and men will be supported to realise own business ideas. Innovative youth from remote areas lack network and awareness on available resources for technical or financial support. For 12 months each will be linked with an experienced mentor recruited among corporate sector, NGOs, employment centres, or senior student volunteers with relevant experience who can support target group in realisation by activating hers/his networking and seek to open up doors.
100 Volunteers from Red Cross and partners will be included as main responsible for community outreach and activities. Several youth-led activities and thematic training courses will enhance young peoples’ ability to analyse their local context and take action on unresolved issues.
