Ijevan city municipality has approached ARCS to assist in the improvement of waste management. The proposed project is to assist the city of Ijevan in providing with the trash bins (about 240 units) and one trash collecting truck. This will significantly improve the waste management issues, as well as environment and reduce disaster risks. Previous experience shows that the banks of the river passing through Ijevan are wasted which is a cause for flooding and other environmental hazards as well as negatively impacting to the tourism development in the area.
