The purpose:

The Resilience center of the ARCS located in Ijevan, Tavush region will support the disaster risk prevention, response and spread of safety and security culture. The Resilience center will focus on enhancing the strategic directions of the ARCS, as well as in the context of disaster/emergency/conflict management including all the stages of management and coordination. The Resilience center will support the development of the ARCS regional branches in the respective areas through the established structures.

  • Rapid response resource center
  • Disaster risk management and climate change and adaptation center (including mapping/database of the risks and information/educational materials) 
  • Civil defense support center
  • Emergency stock
  • Tracing service
  • First aid training center
  • Public awareness education center
  • Psycho-social support center

The aim of the project is to establish resilience center in order to improve the mechanisms of disaster resilience in the region.
