ARCS implements joint programs strengthening cooperation with Norwegian, German, Baden-Wuerttemberg Provincial Branch of German Red Cross, Spanish, Japanese, American, Bulgarian, British Red Crosses, Lionese Branch of the Committee for support to the Armenian Red Cross, UN agencies, GTZ and a number of other international and local non-governmental organizations.

Throughout the year ARCS participated in a number of international meetings, seminars and etc.

About 20 ARCS members and volunteers presented the NS during various important international events, in a number of regional, as well as international cooperation meetings and sessions, FACE, regularly organized seminars and conferences, a number of training sessions, camps and other meetings.

On 17-21 November the 17th Session of the General Assembly took place in Nairobi, Kenya followed by the Council of Delegates on 23-25 November.
ARCS was represented at the meetings by Dr. Anna Yeghiazaryan, Secretary General and Ms. Mariana Harutyunyan, Head of International Affairs Department.
The discussions and decisions made during the meetings aimed at strengthening the Movement capacity to respond more effectively to the growing humanitarian needs all over the world.
During the meeting the elections of the President, Vice Presidents and members of the Governing Board of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent took place.
As it was the first time that the meeting was held in Africa, a special focus was made on the unique humanitarian and development challenges of the continent.
Within the framework of ARCS international cooperation with different missions a number of international delegations visited Armenia.
